Changing my Blqck Myth WuKong score to 9/10. I was very depressed when I played that game. Went back in and played NG+ for a while and stripped back my character while diversifying with different spells and transformations so it would be less easy and feel different. I just realised how much fun that game is despite what I mentioned in my first blurb. A 9/10 is "Phenomenal with immense fun and great quality". While the quality is just passable and sometimes bad and the game is too easy to have no reason to learn most bosses movesets there are many other aspects that hold the game up and there is much that is 10/10 , no matter how you play. I even now see the level design changing from linear to open world and back again as a positive now, it kept things fresh.

I'll be heading back for a clean run at some point without upgrading the Monkey very much, I'm still thinking about how fun the game is a month on. Game stuck with me and made me better at dodging which I thought I was good at cause of TW3 one Death March difficulty but I'm pretty great now, feels like what Sekiro done for my parrying and took me from avoiding it to being pretty damn good at it. The curated version of the Boss Gaunlet is also an awesome challenge with new tough moves thrown in, Love it. The game is no masterpiece but it well above great and your brain ignores the jank when you're immersed. The Platinum also really adds to the game. I so rarely feel like returning to a game after a Platinum but this is one, a sign of a game doing something right.
