It had a slight sale but I suspect we won't see a majour sale until after the PC release so you won't get the amazing Platinum unfortunately which is game enhancing, not so much that it'll make the difference of a score point but its a shame not to do it. Where ever you play it, I highly recommend staying on normal difficulty no matter how difficult the bosses may seem at first, they do not get actually difficult until the last three and never drop it down cause the game is a flow state like game and much of the fun relies on it heavily. Unless you've never played a game like this before and Easy giv3s you that feeling without the need for normal difficulty.

Well the only action/hack and slash games I've played are God of War (except God of War 2018 and Ragnarok), Devil May Cry (except for DMC5) and Bayonetta (except Bayonetta 3).

I'm planning to get into Ninja Gaiden since I have all of the games on my Xbox and since they are planning to make a 4th one.

But ya, I'm planning to play Nier (Xbox 360), Nier remaster (PC) and Nier Automata (Switch) in the future too.

I'll be sure to get Stellar Blade.

Damn, Ninja gaiden was hardcore back even when the controls and camera angle were in fashion, honestly I would not recommend that to be your entry into the more difficult side of the genre, they are tougher and more punishing than Soulsborne games.

Neir Automata is perfect but I wouldn't put it in the same boat as it's genre bending and the core action side of the combat really takes a back seat to what else is on offer like bullet hell design and mixing up genres, it's actually very mid, as is some other things like side questing and what not but I'd highly recommend, that game is a masterpiece with an absolute mind blowing story that'll get you thinking like a philosopher it has such deep themes and cuts emotionally like few other works of any media with an OST that feels like it was found alongside an artifact of the Gods and despite what I said about combat the gameplay is super fun as a package.

Stellar Blade is like Neir Automata if you ripped out all of what I said was good and succeeded in making the poor parts as fun as humanly possible.
