Scarlet and Violet is the fastest selling Nintendo game of all-time. And right now, it's at 26.38 million units as of December 2024. 

Until Pokémon games start selling way less, there's no motivation to make them more technically stable or change up the gameplay. 

It's kinda mind blowing how it seems this critic on Pokemon mainline game about the gameplay "never changing" since the Gameboy days has been overrun to the ground despite the fact so much of it's simplicity and it's depth that was later added on with EV/IVs, objects and Nature's is litteraly part of the appeal.

Maybe it doesn't to some anymore, but that's just a conscious decision of theirs.

Ultimately, Pokemon Legends is has close we're gonna get to mainline title with change up in the gameplay formulas. People got what they wanted after all so I don't understand how the complain keeps coming anymore.
