For the games, yes for sure. One of my favourite games series ever, going out with a "meh".

Such promise, potential, wasted. Disappointing characters, interactions, combat, lore reveals. I think the IP will remain as writers are likely to carry on certain things (books etc) and publications but I was never interested in those as those were all about the character we already know but i was never interested in that. I wanted games with new characters of their stories in this world, one I controlled but it's obvious the writers never actually did.

500 hours in Origins, 250 in DA2, 1200 in DA:I and most of these I did another play right after. 47 in DAV, have no interest in going back.

Now, going to have to hyper focus myself on another thing fictional world. BG3 was good, maybe it's time to get into Forgotten Realms, I hear Planescape game was real good.

The Witcher is great and it leads into a LOT of real Slavic myths cause it takes that as the basis of inspiration, often using monsters and ghouls straight from Legend and you could loose many dozens of hours on one myth, like the Striga which leads you down paths like medieval vampirism and what not and how all that evolved to modern day. Really good content but I suppose you have to fall in love with The Witcher series, the characters and world first and see if the focus falls strongly enough on the fictional work. I have thankfully been able to not get hyper focused on it too much, thankfully so I don't ruin new entries in the series which now is going to be a remake so we know at least one game will be good if TW4 fails. I really, really hope I do not get hyperfocused on this series or it'll ruin any surprise or uniqueness that'll be left and it's very unique cause we hear so little about old slavic myths and legends.
