Nintendo doesn't want to make a more powerful SKU of the next system in a home console form-factor, I would think. But there are two things I would like.
1. A TV-only Switch 2. There is still time to make a TV-only Switch, and they should.
2. Have the dock of the Switch 2 be a bigger boost. All the dock of the Switch does is recognize the system is plugged in, so the resolution and specs go up since they're not restricted by a battery.
I simply don't think there is a market for a home-console Switch 2 with far better (but not a generation ahead) specs.
