To tell you the truth, I am also on your camp, the base Splatoon 2 did not bring enough FRESH ideas for my liking and played it way less than the original as I've grown bored of the online matches. Splatoon 3 has to really surprise me if they want my purchase, if not I'll just wait for the next title on the next console... together with Mario Kart :-/
