Finally a new Nintendo Direct with some game news. its been forever

Prediction time!

I think we will see:

Legend of Zelda collection: Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD for Switch. April 2021
New Smash Character
Hyrule Warriors DLC - new characters, more mission, more maps
Ring Fit Paid DLC
New trailer for Pokemon Snap!
Plants vs Zombies Battle for the Neighborhood announcement trailer for Switch Plus March 2021
Zelda BOTW 2nd teaser trailer that shows a new feature in the game, with a date given of holiday 2021 and more information coming at E3 time.
New Kirby game releasing May 2021
New Splatoon Game teaser releasing October 2021
sizzle real of a bunch of smaller third party games
Mario vs Rabbids 2 June 2021
2 or 3 360 ports from western studios
1 or 2 Japanese localization
a few ports from PS4/Xbone that no one expected

Maybe 1 more Nintendo game that I'm forgetting. But I think they will do a longer session on thing like Pokemon Snap. I don't think we will see Metriod Prime 4 or Monolith New game. We might be Bayonetta 3 though. I think we will likely see all 3 or these at E3 though.

That are a lot of very specific predictions.

I don't think we will see any Zelda-stuff though. They will keep the Zelda-anniversary stuff in it's own presentation like with Mario and they will do it after the Mario anniversary stuff is removed (which is so stupid by the way). So nothing Zelda yet.

New Smash character is a given, seeing as they explicitly mention SSBU.

Hyrule Warrios DLC is interesting - and quite frankly seems inevitable. The first Hyrule Warriors got a metric shit-ton of DLC. But the first one was mostly fan-service, so adding new characters and stuff was simple. Age of Calamity is a bit more focused on a specific story. Still I think there is more than enough room for DLC. And the timing seems right, we are three months after release.

Paid Ring Fit DLC would be cool. We already had free DLC, but it is very successful, so Nintendo might be willing to do that. If something like Tetris 99 get's paid DLC, RFA would be not too surprising. So, that is a possibility.

A chunk of time will be reserved for Pokemon Snap, Bravely Default II, Disgaea 6, Ys IX and Monster Hunter Rise. Pokemon Company will probably make their own presentation down the line, but a new Snap-trailer now still might fit in.

I don't think we see another Splatoon on Switch or Mario+Rabbids 2.

Maybe the project Zero from WiiU will get a port.

And I think we will see the announcement of one or two new smaller games, some IP as big/small as Rhythm Heaven.
