I'm a bit salty there is no Switch Home. I was hoping the early rumors were true of a PS4 level home console, even if it was tied to another hybrid.

Nin, please make a Switch Home.

I have my Switch docked 100% of the time. To me, its a home console. That's why I bought the one with the gray Joycons, because it would look better in my home theater.

I'm glad it works for you, but the portability is meaningless to me and it's too costly based on the portability. I'd require the extra costs be put into performance while it sits under the TV to make it worth the purchase, or incredibly cheaper based on it's existing performance.

For me, it doesn't work, and yet Nin does nothing about it. Does Nin not care about gamers like me? At what cost does making money or winning matter?

Everyone has to choose their path though because no path leads everywhere.

Well.. the Wii was a home console. And I believe it competed directly because it took away that casual crowd that typically flocked to PS consoles. I also believe that the 7th gen created (or emphasized) a clear distinction in gamers. I don't like using the phrase but let's call them hardcore and casuals (personally I would prefer traditional and non-traditional but don't want  be accused of making up any categories). One can argue that the same traditional gamer space is the exact same space the PS4/XB1 is still competing in today. Last gen that space accounted for about 160M in sales. So far this gen it's tracking for around 140M. Will probably closes this gen at around 160M/170M when its all said and done.

I concur... maybe this would just be better if we just changed it all to Nintendo vs Playstation v Xbox. And jus track total gaming devices sales from each platform for regardless of gen or form factor.

You do realize that Nintendo would win that, right?

It's not always about winning, or is it never about winning?
