Though as I don't have another 3DS I wouldn't be able to change it to another pokemon game anyway, do I have a workaround for it? Will that paid pokemon bank app help? How often are those mystic pokemon distributed? Can I get them here in Brazil as physical events just never happen here? |
With a second 3DS and a second Pokemon game (don't forget this) you can trade with yourself and so switching Pokemons between games. This is why also a physical Pokemon game is preferable to a digital, because you can put it in the other 3DS.
Without a second 3DS though, the only way to transfer Pokemon is to my knowledge Pokebank. You have to pay a yearly fee, which is here in europe 5€. Your Pokebank-account is linked to a Nintendo Network ID. Don't know if it is the same your 3DS is linked to, but I assume that is the case. Games you can connect Pokebank too are X/Y, Omega Ruby/Alpha sapphire, Sun/Moon and Ultra Sun/Moon. As there is no Switch-Pokemon so far it is unclear if Pokebank is the way to go on Switch too, or if they use something else to transfer Pokemon from your 3DS-games to your Switch games. For Black/White a different app is used to transfer Pokemon into the newer games. With Pokebank you transfer directly between in game Pokeboxes and your online boxes (which are 100, so saving overall 3000 Pokemon).
Eventy include physical events which may or may not happen in brazil and online events, which means you connect your game in a time-frame to the internet. Don't know if Nintendo restricts the online events per region or not. Also Pokebank from time to time gifted me Pokemons (nothing super-special, last time I got the evolved version of the starters of Sun/Moon). Again I don't know if these Pokebank-gifts are region bound.
