An extremely interesting, but highly difficult question. This question probably deserves it's own prediction thread with proper shaming of all the wrong answers in either direction later this year.
As it isn't a core game, it has to be kinda be counted like a new IP. With taking Gen 1 landscape and Pokemon, it also is kinda a remake. Also it is a new IP that is catering partly to the Pokemon Go hype.This all in combinations make prediction very difficult. I think it can be as low as three million or as high as twenty (obviously over the course of multiple years). The last one even throws another hurdle: the usage of gen1 suggests sequels for this series. But how fast will they come? For predictions sake I pick 10M as my number.
