Back then Indies weren't present in such a number on consoles and the Wii E-Shop was a pain in the ass. So sans downloadable titles Wii and Switch may be closer. WiiU had downloadable title from the beginning including indies, so that comparison is fair. But because of downloadable titles WiiU looks close at all to Wii.
