I would say irrelevant. Which big games had EA for Wii? The biggest selelrs according to VGC were Monopoly and MySims. I'm sure that created the success of the Wii. Knowing EA the support will be crappy anyways.

But surely an unprecented partnership.

Just because those might be what sold best doesnt mean EA didnt bring big games to the Wii.

multiple FIFA, Harry Potter, Madden, Medal of Honor, NBA, Need for Speed, Sims (both mainline and exclusive spinoffs), Tiger Woods titles. They had other titles too, including Dead Space, Skate, Spore, and SSX. There are, of course, a bunch of other games too.

I never said EA didn't support the Wii. They actually had quite some games, more than you named. But I said it was irrelevant. I illustrated that by pointing out the top-sellers. I should have mentioned these barely sold above 1 million. EA-games didn't sell Wiis. And on Wii EA didn't make a big profit, as their games sold bad. So EA-support was mostly irrelevant then and there is not much proof, that says it should be different this time.
