Blockbusters this year have been a bit week. Last year was better . The only two stand outs are Mad Max and Star Wars. Both fantastic, but I had issues with both of them too. Both are 9/10 movies for me.
Smaller movies have been great this year though, much better than last year, where there was too much Oscar baiting.
Sicario, Creed, The Gift, Ex Machina were 10/10 movies for me.
All the other major blockbusters or smaller movies this year fell flat for me, from Bridge of Spies to Missions Impossible Rougue Nation.
I was less than impressed with most movies this year.
