I guess because I only drop in quickly and randomly rather than digging to find good threads.  As a casual lurker I like the idea of all the "hot topics" being together in one place.  So short answer: laziness.  XD

One day you'll probably miss out on an awesome thread I'm going to make simply because you want to use the main page!
