Why shouldn't there be hope? Fans of PS hoped PS4 would perform better than PS3, It's the best thing for fans if the thing they like is appreciated by others. Nintendo makes fantastic games (and this is coming from an old Sega fan who despised The big N back in the days) and deserve to sell a lot more. That 3rd parties only run where the money is is only a sad statement ago the industry, not Nintendo themselves.
