But the name's already been used in two separate spinoff games, at least one of which was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less Metroid than this game.

you mean pinball was less metroid than this game ? what can I say ...i dont agree

i mean at least it had samus in it and at that time we werent asking for a metroid game this much.
