Streaming is no solution to backwards compatibility... In fact it's worse.

Read the whole post. Backwards compatibity is just a term that describes emulation of a consoles predecessors, streaming is simply emulation on another machine across a network, which is cheaper then the other forms but has a reliance on internet connection. The Wii U to Fusion compiler that I suggested would be more expensive then streaming, and not true emulation, but it would be cheaper then other forms of on system emulation and provide a similar and arguably better effect.

As I said streaming is no solution. Besides Fusion was proven fake anyways so I have no idea why you keep quoting it. Streaming creates latency and you can not assume everyone will have access to this. When a good portion of good Nintendo games are platformers this absolutely kills that genre as with FPS.

I didn't say streaming was a solution, I merely mention it as an option, the hypothetical was what I was suggesting. And Fusion is just a codename, doesn't matter if its false or not.

In the post you quoted, only 1 word out of 200 mentioned streaming, and that word was streaming.
