The problem with society is that they compare the best with the current. ex: Pokemon XY is doing great (between 11.5mil-11.7mil sold including digital...shipped at 12mil) but some compare it to the other installments which had a 150mil+ userbase to 3ds 43mil! 2013 was such a fantastic year (1), not for 3ds only but in handheld history! People complain wayyyy to much(2) while 2014 is looking like 2011 line up in terms of quality. 2014 is great for me cuz of Kirby+SSB. Bolded 1 - agreed
Bolded 2 - not really complaining, just pointing out the difference. A bit disappointed I would say
Bolded 3 - I think now is a fair time to judge. Like I said elsewhere, there was already a better lineup at this time last year, in terms of both releases and future releases. Nintendo will undoubtedly announce some great new 3DS games at E3, and hopefully a majority will come out later in the year. But for me, there is no chance the 3DS will reach anywhere near the same levels as last year. That is not to say it will be a bad year, just not a great one. I'm glad that you have plenty to look forward to this year on 3DS though :)
