Im expecting strong reviews and good sales all around. Tough no Pokemon or Mario-Kart levels. Its a first entry of a popular franchise, so a lot depends on how well it will be received by critics. PSASBR proved that this kind of game can work perfectly on handhelds, tough it did not have the brand backing or the perfect, day 1 balance of the SSB series.
I also think that releasing the handheld version during summer is a genius move by Nintendo and the fact that it has a different campaign compared with the WiiU version are 2 great steps to differentiate the 2 versions.
All in all Im expecting strong sale (anywhere from 3-6 million units LT) and a major hardware boost during launch month in every region. Will it last? No, but it will help the 3DS maintain good sales throughout the year
