With worldwide sales, though, it should be the best selling Monster Hunter yet. It's going to become the second-best selling non-Nintendo game in Japan (behind a previous Monster Hunter!), and the third best selling 3DS game there, behind Pokemon and Animal Crossing. Being the 3rd best selling 3DS game most likely means it's going to be the third best selling game of the 8th generation in Japan. A future Pokemon game might surpass it, but I don't think anyone else has a chance of reaching MH4 levels now. |
We already know it will not get a worldwide release, as MH4G is already announced and also that MH4G will (named as Ultimate) be the version that is released in the West.
