Because the companies will stop doing stuff, that doesn't bring them profit in the long term. I agree as gamers itis second priority.

But this was also about winning, and for that profit is relevant. Skeeuk was applying another measure than usual for "winning" (and subjective too, what is major) and Puggsly added just another view on what defines winning.
