Fair enough. I dont think MH is a good example, im talking strictly home consoles. and that series hasnt exactly set the Wii or WII U sales on fire either. So yeah, matter of fact those are just uprezzed 3ds games anyway that isnt even utilzing the WII U power wise. We are talking GTA that alwasys pushes the system so no it isnt comparable to MH, WIi u version is a cheap port by comparison. And they have been trying and failing. Ubi has been trying and failing, so should they keep trying and failing and hope it will turn around? You're comparing Rayman to Knack? One is an established franchise that gets rave reviews. the other is a new IP on a system that just released. Not a great comparison. and LBP does much better than Rayman sales wise nowadays. and Legends still sold best on PS3 despite going against GTA5. As for Vita...nobody complains about Vita, you rarely see any Vita threads, becasue WE get it. We know its doing bad so we dont expect much support. Its the daily Wii U threads that i see that says 3rd party this or Wii U needs that. |
Read more carefully. I meant MH as a franchise with recent great selling titles like MH3P or MH4. That was an example for an franchise that was built by Capcom over years. I didn't meant the WiiU title, why would I. This is an example for how a gaming company is setting over years the expectations of the customers and build a fanbase over time. MH wasn't successful over night.
I don't try to compare Rayman to Knack. I wrote the WiiU already established itself as a platformer-system. There are a lot of games (first-party and third-party) that are platformers. The sales of Legend prove, that as small as the fanbase of platformers has gotten, it is centered about the WiiU. And I wrote, that a Knack alone will not make the PS4 becoming over night the ystem for platform-gamers. I expect, that multiplat-games in this genre will do this gen best on WiiU.
And about Vita - I just gave an example. And can you point me to the threads, that demand this game or that from thirs-parties for WiiU? All I see are constant threads about another game surely ar maybe not coming to WiiU or another developer we never expected to release on a Nintendo platform to state, that they indeed still don't release on Nintendo-platforms. Usually don't created by Nintendo-fans. Like this thread we are posting in. I usually don't see something like the thread for Vita I mentioned for WiiU. So I think NIntendo-fans mostly get it, that they get only mediocre 3rd-party-support, like the Wii got last gen. But still non-Nintendo-fans create these threads declaring that another 3rd-party-game we never expected to not come to WiiU - like expected.
