After reading that article about Jeff Minter bitching about XBLA I don't understand why switching to the Wii will be better. I mean is it like PSN with no size cap on games? Jeff Minter complained because his game Space Giraffe was outsold by a Frogger remake. Then he goes on to say people on XBLA have no taste if they choose Frogger over his game. I guess he didn't realize original games have sold pretty well on XBLA. Maybe people didn't buy his game because it sucked!? Then because it didn't sell he doesn't want to make another game for XBLA ever?
Now these developers are complaining because gamers on XBLA prefer retro titles, but what happens when their games are outsold by VC titles? I guess Jeff Minter will feel better if Dr. Mario outsells his next game rather than Asteroids or Millipede.
