i bought the game back then months ago, because it looked old-school enough to be to my liking. I never did regret the purchase, it was a good game, I liked it. A sidenote: it doesn't make any use of the 3D-feature, the only game I know does that (Pokemon and Devil Survivor Overclocked use 3D at some parts while not using it most of the time).
