I don't feel like giving Ubisoft credit for employing their usual strategy of being present at a new system's launch, because it's what they always do. Put out several games, because the overall selection of games is limited and thus there's a higher chance for Ubisoft games to sell.

Although blaming them for losing faith wouldn't be right. However, it's their own fault when their second batch of games bombs all around. At a time when first party software rolls out, third parties should bring their A game to benefit from the increased overall interest in console and software. The quality must be there, the marketing must be there. Otherwise third parties will have quickly recreated the situation that only Nintendo games sell in big numbers. At this point that seems to be inevitable though, because third parties are already throwing in their towels left, right and center.

I dont think the second batch of games will bomb, though that "batch" is only including Rayman, AC and WD as far as I know.

Rayman is seemingly doing well on Wii U, when compared to other versions (Though granted, we only have EU numbers and theyre terrible on all platforms). AC4 should do better than AC3 did, mainly because its actually launching at the same time as the other versions.. And WD being a new IP with considerable hype behind it really shouldnt flop on any platform.

This Holiday is key for Wii U, thats for sure.
