Sooner or later someone else can pick up Bayonetta 3. I doubt that the franchise was completely bought by Nintendo, I think Sega kept it's rights of the thing, and only Bayonetta 2 is Nintendo-published. So the chance keeps intact and the franchise is kept alive in the time.
