I have read a couple of articles like this, and I have always agreed with them.

Whether or not Nintendo gets 3rd party support will have nothing to do with it's lack of power, and will have everything to do with whether the developers want to make the game(I'm looking at you EA). It will be at least 3-4 years till we start seeing a difference gameplay-wise.

Power isn't the only reaso Wii U isn't getting support but it is a major reason.

Why do people keep saying EA hates Nintendo? They put Need For Speed on Wii U and they put Mass Effect on there even though it had no chance in hell of selling well. They even put FIFA 13 on there if I remember correctly.

Where is this EA hate again?

Criterion made NFS and decided the WiiU-port. FIFA was gimped and I think the license includes a 'release on all major platforms'-option. Mass Effect was nice, but the other platforms got a trilogy.

I don't say they necessarily 'hate', but they decided some time ago to simplify the market by getting rid of some console-makers. That worked for Sega. That didn't work Wii-generation for Nintendo. They try again this gen. Same that Capcom tries with Vita. If sales of the devices pick up, EA and Capcom will release games - but first they look if they can kill the system by not supporting it.
