Wii U isn't selling poorly because of EA though. It will be much harder to get rid of Nintendo compared to Sega. This is because:

 

  • Nintendo isn't in a financial crisis
  • Wii U isn't the successor to a failed system
  • EA isn't as big as before
  • Nintendo's franchises are much bigger than Sega's 
  • Nintendo has the 3DS to back them up if Wii U fails

 

So, I don't think it will work even if EA completely ignores Wii U the whole Gen.

I agree on most points, but EA is probably the biggest player in the game-market at the moment. But their impact on Nintendo shouldn't be that big, as their support for Wii was also not that good.

Interesting will be take Two. So far I don't know, if they want to support Nintendo with their big games this gen.
