Doesn't matter.  Criterion is owned by EA, meaning Criterion is EA. 

Yes and no. Criterion is obviously owned by EA. For this specific franchise, since 2012, Criterion has control over which titles will come out in the future (Source). If EA was managing the franchise they would have outsourced the port and put Criterion to work on the next Burnout. Instead Criterion has decided to port the game themselves with a small team. This is time well invested since they've recently stated they want to release future titles simultaneously with the rest of the platforms.
