As the OP says Japan and Bravely Default is already released there, I would say no. But that sounds like new games from 3rd-parties.

It's probably going to be a Japan-only Nintendo Direct, so most of the games that will be shown won't release in America and Europe this year, if at all.

For us it's basically a glimpse of the future, because we are lagging several months behind Japan. Not really a bad thing anymore, because in the coming months we'll get the games the Japanese played in 2012.

I agree, but as we get now Etrian Odyssey, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, code of Princess, Project X-Zone and MH3G, the games we will see in the new direct will probably our european lineup for 2014. Yay!
