Spurgeonryan is the best poster vgchartz has ever seen, and now that he's fading away I think it would be fitting if we paid tribute to his contribution to making vgchartz the great place it is today.
I remember when I joined about a year ago spurge was the first person to add me as a friend. At first I was afraid of him because of his avatar and I thought he was an asshole from the few posts I had seen of him. Around that time, vgchartz was pretty much run by Spurge and Yo-John, and you couldn't like both of them, much like the way you can't like both Edward and Jacob in Twilight (am I right guys?), so everybody had a preference. Anyway, needless to say I was on #teamyojohn and I viewed spurge as nothing but a lunatic. In time, however, I grew to love his zaniness and we became great friends. We've had many arguments over the year I've been here, but it's impossible to stay mad at him, and we always eventually kiss and make up. #spurgemoments
