I never doubted that either. But point is, piracy has no big effect on sales of games. And you will never be technically able to avoid that. I'm a programmer, it is from principle not possible to avoid that. But that all doesn't change much, that I want to use the device I bought to full abilities. Hacking my DS brought me Homebrew like DSOrganizer, turned my DS into a MP3-player with lmp-ng and gave me additional games like Meteora. That didn't stopped me from buying great games and even recently I bought Pokemon White 2. Full price. Hacking is good, it increases the value of the device I paid for WITHOUT piracy. Piracy does not kill business, bad decision kill business. DS and Wii and software on these devices selled great, even hacked. I see much room for improvement for the WiiU specifically, most of all the Wii-mode sucks and could be much improved.
So an big yeah for jailbreaking. You will have to do it in the future in cars too, with more and more computers even in cars, the morons in suits will think, they can get restrict you to drive on some roads. Or something similar stupid.
