Topless avatars too much?

It seems the mods (or maybe it's just kantor, I don't know) have un-done the rule about topless avatars by allowing pezus to have the following avatar:

I enjoy pictures like this as much as the next guy, but I don't want them showing up when I'm on this forum. It'll start an influx of sexual avatars and this site will once again become unusable when I'm in a public place...the NSFW forum is there because it keeps all NSFW material in one place so people know whether or not to visit it when they're in work/school/whatever, but when people have NSFW avatars and are posting in tonnes of different types of threads then the entire forum becomes NSFW.

Oh, Jesus man, get a grip. What's wrong with this avatar exactly and who would think less of you if they saw you browsing a site with a picture like that? I suppose people shouldn't be able to upload beach photos to FB now either.

It'll start an influx of people using NSFW avatars again. Also, Machina deemed it inappropriate when he implemented the rule, so I don't see why the rules should be any different now.

Besides, you've told me yourself that the only reason you use avatars like this is to increase your profile views...
