It would appear that the market for FIFA games is simply growing - and rather than Microsoft 'taking away' lots of Playstation's pie, it's actually losing ground on Playstation purchases.  
I suspect a lot of this has to do with people finally making the switch from PS2 -> PS3 since there's still a huge amount of FIFA sales on the PS2.  Also, Europe.

I think a tie ratio under consideration of only European sales would be more appropriate to come to a conclusion.
