This seems an appropriate time as any to tell my amusements anecdote, so here goes...
Me and my friend were playing a machine in the amusements which involved timing when to push a button which moved a bar across and knocked polystyrene blocks wrapped in £10 and £20 notes down a tube and into your hand. Anyway, after a few goes I worked out the timing perfectly and over the next 48 hours I won £420 on that one machine. Needless to say, when we went there on the third day they had changed the timing so that my perfect technique was rendered useless.
The moral of this story is that the amusements CAN be beaten!
