Wasn't he the one who invented the policies, that made third-parties flee Nintendos Platform, as a alternative popped up?

You could also say he was the man that created the polices that enabled 3rd party games on modern, post-1983 crash consoles to begin with.

You could also say, that the NES was the only post-crash-platform, there the 3rd-party-devs could sell their games on. They fled the N64, as the PS offered them an alterntive.
