That makes no sense, why the hell would i accept having to buy more than one system for my kids? Wouldnt it be much easier to just to have more than one account so I dont have to drop another 100+ on it??? I dont feel emotionally attached to Ninty to just throw them my money.

PSN and LIVE has more than one account to be used. And they have been doing that for YEARS. Why in god's name would i expect a new system to be going backwards?? Would you want to go back to black and white TVs?? I doubt it.

Im complaining about Ninty, because they STILL dont get it, people dont like friend codes, period. Put aside your bias and honestly tell me that the alternative (what everyone else is doing) is not better.

FYI its not a deal breaker, im still getting one just like every other Ninty handheld and did complain about the VITA having the same problem, funny you didnt mention that

The main reason why you need more than one account on the 360 and PS3 is an overarching achievement system, so that others don't mess with your stats. Since the 3DS has nothing of that sort, it doesn't need multiple accounts.

The 3DS friend code is a twelve digit number that needs to be entered once. That's about the same amount of effort it takes to enter a username of somebody you want to add to your friends list on the 360 and PS3. Usernames can be shorter than twelve letters, but they can also be longer.

So I honestly tell you that Nintendo's system is better, because there's no need to constantly log out and log in when multiple people use the same system.

Plus the idea of multiple account is beneficial in consoles like the PS3 since those can be located in different regions, but that doesn't happen with Nintendo's console, it isn't region free.

Why would you want multiple accounts? Just set up a general account and share the console with your family/loved one/kids if you really have to (or are you scared your friends will see you playing with Nintendogs?). Downloadable software can be transferred easily between systems you own, so they aren't linked to the hardware you buy them anymore.
