That's not online play.

Read more here. Basically, the PSP MH games can only be played online, if a PS3 is used as a proxy, but that's certainly not how MH became big in Japan.


You beat me to it, basically for PSP monster hunter games to be played online, or other PSP titles, you need to use PS3 at home, which defeats the portability factor of Monster Hunter. 

Also why the hell do you know so much about products you will never own!
