Maybe the blue Resort deal is Japan only (I haven't looked over here since I got Resort+adaptor). Funny enough, I've done the oposite of you, bought the standalone blue and was thinking on getting WiiPlayMotion with the red one if I could sell my old wiimote+motionplus. Hmm, knowing it's standalone in Japan, I might wait and see if the red standalone gets released here. My ideal controller setup would be blue, red, black and white remote pluses! (no pink xD)

Now I have to find a sucker to buy my normal wiimote+motionplus. Any takers? :D

Heh, I did the same when WSR first came out I got the bundle with the adapter for my regular white wii controller and an extra adapter for my other white wii controller. My gf's family just got a Wii not too long ago which only came with one Wii remote plus. I took the opportunity to pass along one of my white wii controllers w/the extra adapter and got myself the red one with motion plus built-in. ;-p

I've sold all three of my wiimote + motionpluses (albeit a bit cheap), and eagerly waiting for the red one to arrive through the mail :D
Since I have now two more colours to pick... that golden remote looks very enticing! I wonder if they'll ever release that green one ~
