it still sold 5.2 million, we dont know how much it sold from bundles. we should not allow a game just because it was bundled, every game was/is/ will be bundled at some point pretty much. and the bundles it was in, added cost to the ps3, unlike the KZ3 bundle where it still cost $299.
@enrageorange on 03/17/11 22:42 CST B. No GT5 Prologue has not SOLD over 5mil copies, most stores do have plenty of copies of the game which ofc are not selling at all. I mean saying a game must have sold most of its shipped copies because no one is buying it anymore is just about the most ridiculous thing to claim. Its the exact opposite, retailers are shit out of luck in selling all the greatest hit copies of the game they have in storage, and if the reason you took it down is because you were peer pressured and not because people convinced you they are right then maybe someone else should indeed be making this thread. gt5p has sold 5 miilion, and the reason it has stopped selling is becasue polyphony has stopped shipping because gt5 is out and there is no demand for gt5p |
It did NOT sell 5.2m times, it got shipped and downloaded 5.2m times.
300k GT5P bundles were sold in Japan alone and didn't add any additional costs.

However I don't even have a problem if the game has been bundled a few houndred thousand times or not, only that using shipment numbers/download numbers in VGC statistics is not valid.
