I thought so aswell, but then a few things changed my mind. I got the Shadow Complex demo aswell (not a big arcade person so dont bash me for this) and thought that was even worse (mainly due to the random jumping). But had more extended goes at both and got more into them, but Limbo did it more for me. 

not a big arcade person because you dont like the games or just havent gotten into buying things off the arcade?

if its the latter...Dont settle, there are hundreds of games on the arcade... if you dont buy many arcade games you should get something that you really love.
