1. It uses the Analog stick. I think most games (both systems) allow you to reverse what the left and right sticks do, if that was an issue for you. I prefer the 360 controller because it fits better in my hand...so i consider it better.
3. The only game im aware of that does it is UT3(ps3). Although LBP(ps3) will have user created content as well. The 360 has the XNA thingy where people can create games and share them, its subscription based though and im not sure what it costs.
4. Some ps3 games have mandatory installs at the beginning and periodically throughout the game. I think they are 3-5 GBs. The 360 will be adding a feature where you have the option to install the whole game(disc still required for play)/
