Just an update.  He liked it and hung it next to his Red Sox and Bruins Championship memorabilia.

I am sure it is true.  He has been rested every Wednesday practice for like the last two for back issues.  I don't know if it as severe as people are making it out right now, but he has had back issues for a while.  As to whether or not he will retire because of it... Who knows!  Nobody knows what lynch is thinking besides lynch himself...

I hope not, I really really like players who fuck with the media.  I really do.  That's partially why I love Belicheck so much, because it's one of his pleasures to toy with the media.  And it's hilarious to see them go apeshit over it.  Plus, Lynch is a damn good player, so it'd be nice to see him in the game for longer.  That having been said, if it's a choice between being mobile in the future and playing for another season...yeah, I'd say retire, but, I hope it's not true.

He is only 28, he hasnt quite hit the decline period,  he still has another prime year or two left if he keeps playing...

Yeah it's honestly just that I like to see players play as long as they want to, and not necessarily be sidetracked unexpectedly by injury.  It goes with all players, and not just players on the team I like.  The rare specimens are really a treat to watch.
