Then I wont have to be worried about whether should I buy the next Wii2 or not.... oh, if Nintendo decided to stop making systems they might open a shoe factory - anybody wants some Super Mario boots?!

If you rearrange the letters in Nintendo, it spells Natal (amazing, I know). Does that answer your question?

Are you drunk?

in = a
en = a
do = l

What does "natal" mean anyways?

They'd probably go with Sony. I mean, Nintendo and SEGA were rivals yet, SEGA has mostly flocked to Ninty. They're both Japanese too.

if after the gamecube, nintnendo decided to stop making consoles, who do you think nintendo would develop for... microsoft, or sony?

do you think nintendo would develop exclusively for one of those platforms, or do you think nintendo would develop for both platforms?

do you think microsoft would pay for nintendo developing for their system, or do you think nintendo would develop for whichever system was actually better...??

i need to know the answers

  I don't think that would have at all been a likely scenario considering their plans for the Wii existed during the N64 era; they were going to release the system; it just came a generation late. Even though they had a bad marketshare, Nintendo was the most profitable company in the industry by far. When taking into account a year where they had a dominant market share: Last year alone Nintendo exceeded Sony computer entertainment and Microsoft's combined total profits, and that is ignoring their red ink quarters.

Sony as a whole and Microsoft's gaming/entertainment division, not MS as a whole.

They might go back into the love hotel business. Good times for everybody!

O.o what language is that?

From Wikipedia:

Natal as an adjective refers to birth. As a proper noun, Natal may refer to:

Places

Natal as a place name usually relates to the fact that Natal is the Portuguese word for Christmas. For example, Vasco da Gama named the South African region of Natal after his landing there on Christmas Day 1497, and the village that became Natal, Brazil, was founded on Christmas Day 1599. See also Christmas Island (disambiguation).

nintendo lost money on the gamecube ... sega lost money on the dreamcast ... Sega stopped hardware ... if nintendo stopped hardware ... i would have loved a sega/ninendo console, best of both worlds

<3 Sega <3 Nintendo

I think they almost earned as much profit on the Gamecube as Sony did on the PS2.

They did? O_o

Nintendo actually made a greater profit than Sony every single quarter of the generation with the exception of Q4 2005 when Sony made an astonishing 575 million dollars, and Nintendo only managed 535 million. Sony Computer Entertainment's highest quarter was Q4 2003 where they made 659 million, but Nintendo made 697 million that quarter.

Nintendo's lowest Gemcube era profits came in Q2 2005, where they made only 34 million, Sony in comparison had lost 54 million in the same quarter.

Now that Nintendo is popular, their lowest earning quarter in the Wii era is Q1 2007 where they made only 495 million, Sony lost 914 million that quarter.

Nintendo made nearly 5.6 billion in their last fiscal year which is more than the sum of the black ink numbers SCE recorded in the entire history of the playstation brand, plus the black ink of Microsoft's Xbox division in the entire history of the Xbox brand.
