if after the gamecube, nintnendo decided to stop making consoles, who do you think nintendo would develop for... microsoft, or sony?

do you think nintendo would develop exclusively for one of those platforms, or do you think nintendo would develop for both platforms?

do you think microsoft would pay for nintendo developing for their system, or do you think nintendo would develop for whichever system was actually better...??

i need to know the answers

I don't think that would have at all been a likely scenario considering their plans for the Wii existed during the N64 era; they were going to release the system; it just came a generation late. Even though they had a bad marketshare, Nintendo was the most profitable company in the industry by far. Last year alone Nintendo exceeded Sony computer entertainment and Microsoft's combined total profits, and that is ignoring their red ink quarters.

Sony as a whole and Microsoft's gaming/entertainment division, not MS as a whole.
