What was wrong with killzone 2 compared to other successful first person shooters?

Please no short comments like "story sucks", "halo is better" or any of sorts.

What makes you think something is wrong with Killzone 2?

nothing really
apart from nobody using mics

Maybe it's not-COD-like control scheme put people off in the demo
Or the first half of the single-player has too many shades of grey
Or no co-op
Halo is 16+ (so all the kids can play it too :p)

Characters vere very boring and uninteresting.Also I was expecting more from Helghast as a "alien".

You hit the final rank online way to fast. I did it in under a week I think and I only player for 2-3 hours at that time, but there isn't something "wrong" with KZ2 I put a good 80 hours in the MP sure the story sucks but I didn't buy it for that.

I think in some scene where Helghast first spoke, they went going "Yea fuck that" or anything alike..I was so dissapointed.

Dude i have MW2 and I still cant abandon KZ2... Theres nothing wrong with it IMO.

Well, I hear quite a lot of people saying how killzone 2 was dull and uninnovative while they go on rambling about how other first person shooters are better. I never really understood that.

I was also disappointed how the game profanes a lot throughout the game.
