They look good by my standards. And regardless of graphics, the game will sell millions anyhow.

I thought that too but then I looked at the spartan laser in the last pic........OMG best graphics ive seen on a gun ever!!!

The engine could rival KZ when used for another game but halo needs to keep that halo look so going too realistic could ruin the whole effect.

lol I was just about to post these. You can tell the game is far from done because of all the placeholder images from Halo 3 but the game seems like it is definitely going to sport some impressive graphics. Oh as for a rundown of what was said in the MLG thread about the pics, the guy who played it said that the BR is much stronger and is a one shot weapon now instead of burst, there are perks now including sprinting, camo and a hologram one that makes a copy of you confusing the enemy. Also as can be clearly seen there are new weapons. There was a couple other minor stuff but I'm not sure how legitimate these pics are so I'm not going to get too much into it.

The game has been in development for 2 years with another year to go and it already looks much better than Halo 3, even with those crappy pics so I'm not sure what your looking at.

A guitarist lol.. But in this case it's just the account of the guy who posted the images on MLG forums.. I guess he created that new account since he's under NDA and wasn't allowed to leak the images. Anyway, here's a piece he wrote:

This is what the HUD looks like. In the bottom left, you can see your squadmates health and names. Right above the radar shows what perks you are carrying. When I played there were 3 perks-sprinting, cloaking, and halogram. The sprinting makes you run when you hold LB, cloaking makes you invisible (when you cloak your radar jams and you can't really hear anything around you). The halogram creates a halogram of yourself, so enemies will shoot at both.

You haven't heard the claim that PS3 exclusives are graphicly superior to 360 games because those PS3 games are running on engines built specifically for the PS3? And that Halo Reach will be one of the first games running on an engine specifically built for the X-Box 360?
