Actually DGC. I believe that Warner Bros owned 20% of Naughty Dog. And when Sony wanted to buy them they ahd to hand over an IP. It is kind of like Bungie and Take-Two

Seriously?? Seems kinda odd they would let go of Crash and Spyro... those games sold amazingly on PS1... did WarnerBros pick the IP's or something? Cause then it's still not abandonment

What else were they going to let go? Gran Turismo? Killzone?

 

I know that Killzone wasn't around back then

I think they'll stick with it. Jak and Daxter was a trilogy from the start. Uncharted's story could go on forever.

They had quite a few better [or should I say worse?] options. Like Motor Toon Gran Prix, Omega Boost, Ape Escape, heck Parappa The Rapper. XD

I think ND will always continue Jak and Uncharted games. Plus a new IP for PS4.

OT.. I don't know :p ... They'll likely wanna keep this going though, concidering that it seems to be reaching the point of mass market hype.

I hope they make atleast 2 more Uncharted games. 1 more for the PS3 and the last 1 for PS4. The 1 for the PS4 should be like MGS4 when Snake is old. I would like to play Drake as an old man in the last Uncharted game.

As much As I like Uncharted, I would hate to see it over used. However, since it is an adventure/mystery game, it has the ability to stay freash through many titles.

What I would like to see Naughty Dog do, if they choose to contiune with this franchise, is turn it into the James Bond of video games. A new Uncharted every 3 - 5 years would be perfect. It would keep the franchise freash, and give Naughty Dog room to work on other IP's in between.

I would love to see them work on another Jak game for the PS3, and I think they should make sure to kick off PS4 with a brand new franchise before getting back to Uncharted.

My ND Future schedual:

Jak 4 - November 2010 or November 2011
Uncharted 3 - November 2011 or November 2012
New IP - 2014 or 2015
