Forums - Gaming Discussion - What game(s) are you currently playing + a small review

Uncharted 1 - bought this months ago and never played and now regret it... It's awesome. I find the graphics a little dated for the PS3 but it seems that Uncharted 2 will just blow them away. Great characters, great controls and great story. Video game at its finest.

WSR - For my short video games fixes. LOve flying around the island, love 3 point shooting, love the archery. Really an excellent upgrade from Wii Sports.

Elaine: I will never understand people

Jerry: They're the worst.

ufc: undisputed --it's every mma fans dream come true.

batman AA: one of the better games of the year. it's a really fun blend of beat em up, stealth, and puzzle-solving.

art is the excrement of culture

Batman: AA:

Great game. I'm only 1 hour in and man I'm having a blast.

GT5P:

Great racing. I love driving sims and I'm also getting ready for GT5.

After I complete Batman, I'm going to replay MGS4 before Uncharted 2 comes out. MGS4: 10/10.

Pokemon Diamond - I'm about to go through the icy routes to get the 7th badge. These games are really becoming repetitive, but are solid enough.

Advance Wars DS - I've played for 50 hours, but I haven't completed the campaign (I'm on mission 23 I think) or played on many of the maps. I'm addicted to unlocking the achievments, and I still have only done 110 of the 300. This game is worth the price.

God of War - overrated, but like many overrated games, is still very good. The fast pace, great environments, good camera, and intuitive action make up for the repetitive enemies, invisible walls, and indifferent story.

Love and tolerate.

Batman AA (PS3) - One of the most amazing games this gen, pick it up if you havent. On my second time thru, just need trophies left for completing it on hard mode and the challenges trophies of 16 & 24 bat trophies. Playing as the Joker was a fun change tho Batman's gadgets are too awesome.

Around the Network

Killzone 2

+ graphics and IA.

- small campaign, sometimes too hard, mainly in small spaces, a LOT of times the cross hair can´t be seen.

Overrated, good but not a great game.

Resistance retribution

+ graphics, story, campaign.

- some camera problems.

Excellent game, only problem is the absence of the second analog stick in psp.

Virtua tennis 2009 PS3

+ world tour, mini games, online, better lob and more tactical than VT 3.

- some slowdowns, progression in the world rank is too slow, few innovations since VT 3.

Very solid game, indicated for those who love tennis.

Halo ODST: Need to get the achievements ill get back to it when i get some people to play with.
Halo 3: online is a best im having a blast. My sniping is BEAST!
Crysis: just got a new gaming laptop so i had to put it through its paces and show it whos boss

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

In whole point increments

360:

NCAA Football 09-Pretty decent, although it's impossible to get an updated roster so unfortunately I'm still using last season's rosters. 7/10

Call of Duty 4-This game is always in and out of the console. I still love it dearly. 10/10

NFL Head Coach 09-I just got into this after having it sitting in the box for over a year. Wow! What a simulator. I recommend it to anyone interested in football and management sims. 8/10

Madden NFL 10-Very cool new features. The online in this game is just expanding so rapidly. There's so much more to do now than merely playing a single game. 9/10

Shadow Complex-Love me some Metroidvania. 9/10

DS:

Rittai Picross-This game eat's Picross' children for breakfast. The best puzzle game I've played on DS since the sudoku mode in Brain Age. 9/10

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story-Great game as far. Nintendo really knows how to spice up the RPG genre. 8/10

Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box-I think I'm getting burnt out on the puzzles and how similar some of them are to the first, because I'm not enjoying myself much figuring them out. The story is superb however. 7/10

F.E.A.R. (X360) - I find the game boring so far, I like the FPS genre but this game just seems tooboring for me. Might stop playing after my next time playing it. I hope it picks up from there.

it doesnt pick up, it kind of goes the opposite direction

the ending is cool tho, makes it kind of worth it

wont be many achievements tho, theyre all brutal or glitched out

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

DS
Scribblenauts - Probably my favorite game this gen, period.

GBA
KH CoM - It's better then people told me, but the main reason I'm playing it is to get a better understanding of KHII and 358.

Wii
TMNT Smash Up - Great fighting game with awesome online, if you like the brawler genre don't miss it.

Spyborgs - looks amazing plays like your standard beat em up, and has some cool finisher moves, but nothing too special here.

PS3
Batman AA - Best... super... hero... game... ever...
