it's avaible worldwide

Just flash player up to 3.1...*we are on 10 in pc*

But free nes game it's good

It's a different version entirely.... I think it's called "3.1" because it is the mobile version or something like that... but it should be equivalent to Flash 9 or 10 or whatever the latest one is.

When Wii and PS3 browsers launched they both had whatever their equivalent was to Flash player 7.... a few months ago Sony finally updated to the equivalent of Flash 8 or 9 (can't remember which) and now this Wii update should be Flash 9 or 10 (again not sure, but I don't think it makes much difference for the most part.... as as I think many online videos are usually made using older versions than the most recent one)

Youtube works. Upon first viewing you are redirected to Youtube's mobile based web site called Youtube XL.

To view the standard version, click the link in the top right corner "View Classic Site"

This updates the Flash from 7.0 to Flash Lite 3.1

@Wii_Master

Sony had a deal with Sprint and because of it everyone was able to get Rag Doll Kung Fu ($9.99) for free. They also have tons of free downloadable content all the time.

LIVE has games like Aegis Wing, some Dorito sponsored game and such for free. When LIVE went down a year or so ago they gave everyone the ability to download "Undertow" for free (800 points) for free.

So it isn't just Nintendo.

On-topic though:

What exactly will this add if I update? Just more video support?

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

So it was actually Flash 7 before then... I thought it was the "Lite" equivalent to Flash 7.

The Internet Channel is developed using the Opera Devices SDK 9.3 which supports Flash 7.    The new iteration of the Internet Channel uses Flash Lite 3.1 which supports Flash 8 which most modern Internet sites require.
